AUTODESK: Gallery & Executive

KASA provided project management for a complete refresh of Autodesk’s 10+ year old customer Gallery, Executive Briefing Center and new large Event Space. The retrofit of the space was made unique as the design was pushed to use more future leaning and distinctive materials, in conjunction with preserving the historical brick exterior wall that surrounded the project.
The client was focused on details big and small so knowing all key information was critical to the success of the project. The success of this project also hinged on the streamlined decision making that our client made – which made the job of ensuring concise, timely and thoughtful preparation of all decisions even more important to allow our client to make an informed decision.
This project also allowed us to showcase our leadership abilities during challenges. Multiple pivots in the design meant KASA’s leadership needed to be strong and consistent. Managing construction during COVID with the uncertainty, confusion and changing guidelines had its own unique challenges that were overcome by prioritizing safety and communication as well as having to manage expectations and frustrations around the global supply chain issues. KASA was also able to foster empathy and develop positive communication between all parties when there was friction between our team and the separate Gallery Exhibit design team. Although we were not contracted to manage the design and construction of the Gallery Exhibits, close coordination with that team was critical to the success and full completion of the Gallery.
Autodesk was able to announce their re-opening and allow customers and employees back into the transformed space in January 2022.
