The New Art Trust headquarters was designed by award-winning international architects, Herzog & De Meuron and due to its precision and flexibility, it had been slowly under construction for many years. The building was planned to house the world’s pre-eminent private collection of modern digital art and media and to become the nexus for an art collaborative with NY MOMA, SF MOMA, and the Tate Modern in London.
The building is composed of an above-grade glass and stainless steel pavilion that is the portal for the remaining 90% of the building that is located underground on two levels. The program includes numerous gallery spaces of varying sizes, research and administrative offices, and a private residence.
KASA was brought on in early-2013 to provide leadership to this complex project and to reorganize the construction and design team to complete the project, which we successfully did in 2015.
KASA Partners was retained as the Project Manager.
